2S Water have developed a sensor to detect metals in water in real time. The current solution is grab samples which are sent to the lab, a time delayed and error prone process. 2S Water believes we can do better. Realtime information is essential for process optimization, regulatory compliance, and early issue identification. Our first target market is mining, an industry plagued by regulatory fines and water quality issues, and ripe for data driven process optimization. Most of these issues focus around metals and atomic contaminants that, up until now, no one could detect in real time. 2S Water's sensor provides realtime data in a fully automated system that provides the instant feedback that facility operators need. Further applications include petrochemicals, forestry, and municipalities. 2S Water wants to make the world’s water safe and understood. With realtime data, we can protect water, protect the environment, and protect facilities.

Aquafortus Technologies Limited is a company at the cutting edge of water technology. Aquafortus has developed a novel non-thermal liquid to liquid crystallizer (the ABXTM), that reduces wastewater brine to dry salt and clean water. Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) means that practically all the water is recovered from the wastewater and that the remaining waste can be shovelled onto a truck for final disposal. The ZLD market has grown rapidly due to government regulations globally that compelled heavily polluting and water-intensive industries to go ZLD or face massive fines and ultimately be shut down. Aquafortus’ ABXTM system is a novel liquid-to-liquid crystallizer that promotes the formation of salt crystals via a proprietary direct contact crystallization process using Aquafortus’ patented solutions, which are called the Aquafortus Absorbent and the Aquafortus Regenerant. The ABXTM system efficiently reduces highly concentrated brines to dry salt and produces clean water. The Aquafortus Absorbent can precipitate all salts commonly found in industrial wastewaters, including troublesome salts like lithium chloride. The Aquafortus ABXTM system is the only known continuous and regenerable process that can wholly replace energy intensive Thermal Crystallizers in a ZLD treatment train.

Aquatic's mission is to reveal the invisible throughout the world's waters. Based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Aquatic is combining cutting-edge semiconductor technology, transformative ocean science, agile development methods, and modern fabrication approaches to create globally-scalable tools for tracking carbon, nutrients, and biodiversity persistently and pervasively throughout the world’s oceans – tools that are absolutely essential and desperately needed for monitoring and verification of ocean carbon sequestration, as well as a host of other global industries.

Irrigreen designs and manufactures an all-digital sprinkler system that uses software-controlled precision sprinkler heads to deliver water uniformly across your landscape and reduce unnecessary water usage. Irrigation is the biggest use of household water in the U.S. That's nine billion gallons every day. Half of this water is wasted by inefficient irrigation systems that overlap and spray on sidewalks and streets. Irrigreen conserves that water. The Irrigreen system uses as much as 50% less water, because our digital sprinkler heads spray in the exact shape of any lawn, eliminating wasteful overlap and overspray.

LAIIER connects coated surfaces to digital infrastructure through a LoRa network that is highly expandable, energy-efficient, and secure. The LoRa standard is well-established in smart cities and infrastructure applications. Multiple sensors and sensor types are mounted across a site, commutating wirelessly. Data is aggregated through a local gateway that transmits to the internet. The system presents sensor data on a dashboard available via PC, tablet, or phone, sending critical alerts and performance information to allocate maintenance and repair resources.

NLine Energy, Inc., is a renewable energy development company that has developed a process to convert wasted energy found in water transmission and distribution systems into renewable energy. Their Water To Energy Recovery System (WATERSSM) produces renewable electricity, while providing automatic control and reporting features. Renewable electricity can be used for onsite purposes or sold to the utility. In-conduit hydroelectric projects provide technical, financial and environmental benefits to water agencies, utilities and ratepayers.
